Headphones Connection: hard to fit the cable in:

I have MPOW Bluetooth headphones
(probably this set:
MPOW https://www.amazon.com/Mpow-Bl...words=mpow&qid=1586520439&sr=8-5

with J&D jack
J&D https://www.amazon.com/gp/p...t_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I think perhaps I should use them more frequently when I play my keyboard, instead of letting everyone hear the keyboard sound.

Unfortunately, what I will call the plug (part your fingers use to pull the cable out of the device) does not fit all the way into the aperture needed to connect the headphones, even though the electronic jack seems to fit fine. So the connection is buggy and I occasionally need to push the cable back in, (and I can change the balance of the sound by rotating the cable, somehow.)

Is there some quick fix to let me find smaller connection-cable-jack or headphones that are easier to plug in?

Are quick fixes of any use, with distributors so busy on other orders at the present time?
i.e., what should I buy as a replacement?

(I also don't know how I would replace the computer-audio-jack for my headphones, because it seems like any replacements that don't come with the headphones would also have plugs too large.)

Thanks!

Didn't the MPOW phones come with their own cable?

Maybe just plug that one to the headphones and then find something for the other end.

3.5 to 6.25 adapters of course do exist. And extension cables too. Quality, price and availability vary, as usual.

I have the same headphones. The 3.5mm connector that comes with it has a small diameter jacket and will fit into that recess. Most "regular" connectors are going to be too large and will have the kind of problem you are running into. I don't know if there's a special name for that kind of small connector. If the connector you have has a rubber/plastic jacket rather than a metal jacket, I'd say take a razor blade and try to trim the diameter down a bit so it will fit properly. Otherwise you'll have to hunt online for a connector that specifies the outer diameter of the jacket to make sure it will fit. Or you could see if MPOW will send you a replacement cable.

Thank you! So now I ask: what are decently usable headphones that -can- fit one's standard cable (or maybe come with one)?

Perhaps now is not the time to invest the energy and money in getting something that is branded upper tier than my MPOWs, though I need usability/durability, so maybe I should look at $20 to $40 headphones-- judging off the amazon.com listed price of my set. (Someone should be a better judge of what various headphones are worth and what they are priced at.)

Obviously, the important details is that the new set would need to be easier to plug in than my current one.

Getting connectors to plug into my computer-connection-cable might be one of the most foolproof methods, but then I might break the little cable, etc. I don't have any other hope for searching for better cables.

Or, question 2b, how should I pick -good- headphones (seeing as I don't want to spend time picking, and spending money would prod me to spend time...)?

(Question 2a: how do I pick passable headphones?)
