One of the people from my piano meetup is doing a youtube live pandemic recital later today.

From my experience of listening to him play at the piano meet-ups, I suspect his recital to be excellent. It starts in a couple of hours now.

This is the play list.

I.J. Paderewski - Intermezzo Polacco
L.v. Beethoven - Piano Sonata op.7
F. Chopin - Nocturne op.27 no.1

Thanks for sharing! That Op. 7 is considered as difficult as any of the last 5 or the "Appassionata" or "Waldstein".. It is the longest after "Hammerklavier". Very well played!
The audience of stuffed animals on the sofa is a nice touch.

Not sure I agree with all this (as difficult as Op. 106 or Op. 111?), but I completely agree that it is extremely well played and it's also a fabulous work. Great stuff, KevinM! I, and I'm sure the stuffed animals, really enjoyed your performance.

Sorry to disappoint Sifi. This wasn't me, but someone I know from my local piano meetup group, and knowing how well he played I new this was going to be good.

I see now this is his third recital since isolation started and his next one is Tuesday at 5:30pm. Somehow he is still managing to prepare for these recitals while also doing his Math lectures by video and doing tutorial video feedback with his students.

Oh oops. I seem to have got the wrong end of that stick. Well congratulations on being in a meetup group with someone this accomplished. You must be pretty good yourself if you're mingling with the likes of this fellow!
