I currently have a Casio privia px730,

Do you think a kawai ca79 or CA99 would be a considerable upgrade?

I've had 3 Casio Privias, bought a Kawai MP11se and love it but kept the Casio PX-560 for gigs. I personally think either of those Kawai would be a considerable upgrade in both sound and feel. If you can go for the NV-5 or NV-10, even better! smile

Thanks so much!
I'm just really over the slippery plastic keys.
Dunno if this is common or not but when I play the privia for long time it gives me a headache. Think that's called ear fatigue? It feels like the audio sample is really fake sounding and just grates on my ears.
I go to a mellow setting but it's not giving me a different sample unlike the kawai, it just dampens the only piano sound on the piano.

It took me about 5 minutes to get used to the rough keys on my PX-350. I'm sure that, if I got a Kawai, it would take about 5 minutes to get used to the slippery plastic keys.

Yes, it would be a real upgrade.
