Might be more awkward if one has kids... But yes, my wife said as much the same.

Bidets are useful sometimes!

Without going into details... ๐Ÿ˜

Oh, meanwhile in Finland some folks had used masking tape to write messages to opposing apartment windows:
- Hang in there!
- Everything will be okay.
- I doubt.

And there's a mobile app to access the common information system of schools. School kids (forced to study at home) are giving it 1 star reviews thinking that it would be removed from the app store and that would somehow mean that they wouldn't have to study anymore.

People... ๐Ÿ˜‰

I still have 6 complete rolls of TP and one in use so I don't need to join the fight club in the supermarket.

Yet.

Our province, Noord Brabant, here in the Netherlands was hit pretty hard.

My wife is friends with a woman whose brother is an eye doctor in the hospital which is ten minutes by bike from our house. This guy is very level headed, does not get upset easily but was very concerned that they keep distance from their parents, who I assume are in the 80s, because if they were to get infected, the ICU is already full and they could not be admitted here at this hospital.

Just raided my travel suitcase to find a bit of hotel soap that Iโ€™d kept for a rainy day.
Happy birthday to me.... Happy birthday to me.... .

Most people will end up having a dose of this virus at some point or other. Governments are doing their bit so that it were over a prolonged period rather than all at once... if the tactics work, health services might have a chance to help those whom need it the most.

Fingers crossed.

On a totally unrelated note, just received a set of 7 LP-s with the Beethoven Symphonies with Karajan, the 1963 release by Deutsche Grammophon in mint condition, so there's something to do while having to stay at home smile Someone would ask why LP-s? Straight answer: I hate it that all releases by DG in Apple Music and Spotify have audible digital watermarks. Which is why I won't listen to DG digital releases (I don't have a CD either), so it's a good excuse to buy vintage vinyl records and explore the long forgotten technology wink Sorry about the offtopic smile

I would love to try a bidet (I never have).

The idea of using toilet paper kind of repulses me. If your hands are dirty do you clean them with dry paper?

Since a teenager I've been using baby wipes. They are soft, moist, and fresh. I don't feel clean without them.

My wife would say this is TMI (too much information). smile

God bless,
David

The only thing I still practice is washing my butt.

Every time I go to have a discussion with the grand Ayatollah (the supreme leader) it's impossible to wipe my butt with TP. I only use TP to dry it. If at work, I have to immediately take a shower as soon as possible.

CyberGene apologized for going "off-topic" by talking about Beethoven LPs.
Sure ... that's not about the original topic (viruses), but it's of interest. And not at all repulsive.

Meanwhile, others are talking toilet stuff. Do we really need that?

This is Piano World, not kindergarten.

Me too. Exactly that - I liked pork and the myriad derivative products more than any other meat by far, but I love living pigs themselves even more. Fine animals.

We use bidets in our family and recommend looking at models that can be added easily to your toilet for only @ $40.00. Itโ€™s a simple installation, which you can do yourself. My niece just remodeled and went with the ultimate Toto model. Talk about bells and whistles, it even plays music, lol.

Seriously, donโ€™t you still have to wipe/dry your arse after using the bidet? Or does the bidet offer a blow dryer to finish the job?

A much nicer topic than butts.
