1. L'Autunno (Vivaldi)
2. Let it Go (Disney's Frozen) (dropbox mp3)
3. Mad World (Roland Orzbal)
4. German Dance in C Major WoO 8 (Beethoven)
5. A Song of Erin (Dunhil)
6. No 9 Nana del Mercedes (Javiere Navarette) (dropbox mp3)
7. Ecossaise in G Major WoO 23 (Beethoven)
8. Early One Morning

Piece 7, I'm still not overly happy with and may return to it at a later date. I feel I'm playing 2/4 time a little too much like 4/4 although I'm a bit happier with the syncopation and phrasing now.

Thank you Sol.

My teacher suggested making recordings to help with performance anxiety. It definitely ups the ante in terms of nerves, but nowhere near a live performance.

I truly appreciate your comments.

1 Indian Serenade <Recording> (by Martha Mier)
2 The Hobbit - Theme from the movie <Recording> (by Howard Shore)
3 Everglades <Recording> (by Martha Mier)
4 Bei Mir Bistu Shein <Recording> (by Sholom Secunda)

#4, a famous Yiddish theater song from 1932.

With a drums/bass backing track I put together in Chordpulse (which then played it back via MIDI through my piano).

Hello
I’m french, I’m sorry I don’t write very well English.
I have been doing the challenge for two years, but I start on July not on January.
I don’t know what grade I am, because in France we don’t have grade 1, grade 2.… for the level but we have cycle 1, cycle 2 and cycle 3
I’m cycle 3

That was actually the ABRSM Grade 2 piece that was the hardest to get myself to play. I have difficulty with syncopated rhythms so it was the most intimidating despite being shorter and (after having learned it) easier, in general. Now , it is one of my favorites from that book.[quote=oBreak]I'm going to get in on this one! Stealing Sol Finker's formatting, because it's awesome. Trudging was little tricker than I expected as it's such an odd sounding piece.

Listened to Slippin’ Around——fun music and well done

Reminds me of VERY old music - Alley Cat
