No you need a DAW. Everytime you stop playing, Pianoteq record a new midi file.

I have Pianoteq version 5, maybe that’s possible with version 6.

You can use GarageBand on macOS or Cakewalk on PC. Both are free.

Audacity can read MIDI files, and so you could join separate MIDI files there (disclaimer: I have not tried that myself, but I see no reason why it would not work).

When did Audacity get MIDI capability. I have v2.1.3 and it cannot read them.
Also ... what can Audacity do with MIDI files?

Apparently in version 2.2.0:

https://www.audacityteam.org/audacity-2-2-0-released/

I have not explored the MIDI capabilities, so I can't say what is possible, and what is not. I have used it myself only to remove the first few seconds of a MIDI file, and that worked flawlessly.

OK ... that link says "Playback of MIDI files (fully automatic on Windows; requires cooperating software synthesizer programs on macOs or Linux)."

So on Windows it seems they've thrown in a freebie virtual instrument. Given that the latter generally sell for $100 or more I can't imagine getting much from the in-built freebie. But I think I'll give it a try.

But for the OP ... I think you're better off recording your segments as audio ... whether with Audacity or any other audio recorder ... and then using Audacity to assemble the audio bits to suit your taste.

The “freebie virtual instrument” can be the integrated MIDI GS synthesiser of Windows. This would explain why it is not used on MacOS and Linux which need an other soft synthesiser.

It should probably be pointed out that in order to join MIDI files, no virtual instrument is needed, so at least in principle it should be possible to do such manipulation on MAC's and Linux boxes without much ado. I do not know whether Audacity can do this, however.

These are your best bets, at very least because they offer a common staff notation view of the MIDI file. Edit the file in GarageBand or Cakewalk and use Pianoteq to play it.

Thanks for help. Yesterday i tried this https://midieditor.org/. It's free and useful. But i realize, this is really cheating. So, i changed my mind. Still i record segmented and cut but only 3-4 cuts. (3-4 repeat Each segments for find best one) And also, for recording with video and audio together; this time video editing is a problem. laugh Anyway thanks for help. And sorry for my English mistakes.

By the way, my method;

I use pianoteq midi rec feature;

Turn off automatic recording
Press rec and play segment and stop
same segment repeat again and again (rec-stop)
For other segments same method.
After than, i choose best ones
And finally i use https://midieditor.org/ free software to combine segments (and i feel guilty smile )
Now i use pianoteq open final and complete midi file and convert to wave. with my recording settings.
