I'm not promoting anything for myself, nor do I work and B&H. Just want to let our Piano World family know I just saw this really great deal at B&H in their "Deal Zone" for today only on the JBL 308P MkII 8 for $129 EACH. Yes, $120 off the $249 price today only. Better than BOGOF if you buy a pair. Not Factory reconditioned or used - brand new. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1381118-REG/jbl_308p_mkii_powered.html![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/W6QvV8z/jbl.jpg) ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/hmcQLhW/jbl2.jpg)

wow, that's a good price! I had this speaker, but too big next to a digital piano and it actually didn't sound good enough with a digital piano without the sub :-O
Still great price!

Still great price! Thanks for that feedback! I was only fixed on the price. I probably should have been clear that I have never experienced them for myself. However, i did check some user reviews at Sweetwater before i posted to make sure these were consider to be decent monitors FWIW. https://www.sweetwater.com/store/de...ii-8-inch-powered-studio-monitor/reviewsAt this price it's not a huge risk. We are always talking about monitors on the forum, I figured I would throw this out there.

MacMacMac buy another pair of monitors. You will need them when you make your big piano purchase
All these years playing and I still consider myself a novice.

Two pairs of monitors? I'm hoping to buy a high end piano and eliminate all external equipment. That might be a vain hope (the latter, not the former). But I'd like less clutter, not more.

Do similar deals ever come for these (or their older G3 versions)? http://www.krksys.com/Studio-Monitors/ROKIT-7-G4How do the JBP 308P compare against KRK Rokit 7 G4? Osho

That is a great price! I assume it would be a waste to use a nearfield monitor as "supplemental" sub hidden behind a DP, since they're intended for full frequency, directional output?
