Heya!

For my study I'm doing a project to design something for the Opera & Ballet https://www.operaballet.be/en

Currently I'm researching how Technology and Classical Music can fuse together to create something meaningful. To give an example. They're using technology to create more life into Wagner Opera's. So especially Stage Design is a big example.

Do you guys know of any more examples that exist?

Well, this post is a little old, but...
There are so many examples where electricty has changed things. Just two would be: amplification and recording. Singers and the whole ensemble can be miced and amplified, if necessary, so you stand a better chance of hearing good sound in the hall. e.g. Kronos Quartet has been using amplification nearly their whole life, because chamber music was designed for.. chambers, not concert halls. Amplification (and a good sound engineer) allows them to make the music sound "present" in the largest of spaces.
Recording is related. Microphones can be placed to pick up ultimate sound quality in most halls and achieve excellent quality. It wasn't so likely 50 years ago, and obviously not at all prior to 1900.
