Just a science major who loves to play the piano at his free time. I'm planning on going to a med school but I fell in love with the piano at a young age (don't judge me).

The Branco piece might be difficult since there's only one recording I know of to reference an interpretation of (Which makes it a perfect piece for this category.) The Hamauzu one is from 2001. That's pretty recent to consider a 'gem', but I consider it as such, so I guess I'll add it to the list.

I first heard my teacher play this piece at a recital and fell in love immediately! It is just so beautiful. My teacher and I have been working on it for about 3 months but I am so close to giving up, it is very difficult. This pledge will help me keep at it, and I'm pretty sure I will have it by October.

I am in love with this piece, but it was never published and I can't get a hold of the place that has the original manuscripts. There's just a recording of it on YouTube, so I decided after my other efforts got nowhere to transcribe it from the recording. We'll see how far I get with the 4th movement - it's going to be tricky to play once I get it all down.
