Hi all.

When playing a song where C5 (the C one octave above middle C) is to be played, I get the impression that it has a notably louder respons than the other keys. When I just play the C-scale I don't notice this when palying C5. So the "problem" might be in my touch when playing a song. Rather than a piano issue.

Still - I wonder if any of you happen to know if the Kawai "Virtual Technician" allows me to lower the sound of individual keys on the CS11?

Thank's for your help!

Peter

Yes, I recall the CS11 VT should have a per key volume adjustment function.

As to whether the note itself is playing loud, do you notice only on speakers, or also with headphones (room acoustics)? If you play C5 and B4 or D5 at the same time with the same finger, do you get the same MIDI note on velocity (key sensor)?

Check out page 85 - User Voicing.
