I've been dragging my wife around for weeks looking at grands. Looked at a bunch of Steinways, M&H's and Yamahas. Found a '90 C3 in great condition that really needed nothing done to it so took the pIunge and had it delivered last Saturday.
I know the conservatory series are pretty well known on this forum and are popular, solid pianos but I have to say when you really spend some time with one and kinda get to know how they respond and perform - well, it's better than I thought it would be.
Even though it was in a truck from NY to Connecticut, it held a playable tune when set up in the house. I had a first tuning Monday and will let it set-up for a few weeks then get a second tuning which should get me through the winter.
Anyway, I joined the Yamaha team and have no regrets.
Thought I would share.
Jeff
