Hi
I have Kawai CA98

Everything is great, except one thing- I hear some sound whey key returning after press.

I not hear sound when play with Kawai speakers- sound not too load.
But if I connect headphones- I can hear sound when I take off head phone.

Kind of does not make sense, but I wondering - is it normal behavior , or I need to call Kawai support

You might be hearing the "Fallback Noise", which can be adjusted in the Virtual Technician menu.

Please set the level to "Off", then check if you're still able to hear the sound.

Kind regards,
James

Oh really?

I felt confident that this was the noise you were hearing.

Just in case, please try turning off the other "Noise" parameters.

To clarify, the sound you are hearing is audible through the headphones (and speakers, albeit to a lesser extent), and not a mechanical noise emanating from the keyboard action itself - is that correct?

Kind regards,
James

Do you mean you can hear a mechanical noise from the keys themselves?

My apologies, I misread your initial post - I thought you were hearing the noise through headphones, but not through the speakers (which can happen with the "noise" sounds, depending on an individual's playing style).

The Grand Feel II keyboard action is relatively quiet, but not absolutely silent. Certainly, if the built-in speakers are muted (due to connecting headphones), it's quite normal to hear the mechanical movement of the keyboard action when played.

Assuming the action continues to function correctly, it's probably a non-issue. However, if you have any concerns please contact your dealer for advice.

Kind regards,
James
