This was a big recital with quality submissions. I don't know if and when I have time for individual comments, but I am very impressed by all of you!

Thanks to all for being able to participate in this recital. I've started listening and the sheer amount of great playing and great music is simply astounding. I can't wait to hear them all.

Sam,
Your prelude was the first I’ve listened to. It’s really interesting to me that there are so many composers that I still have not heard of. That, of course, was well played. It made me think that it would be nice to have an exercise in block chords that increased skills in rapid transitions. Maybe this was just such an exercise, maybe there are others about which I don’t know, or maybe I should compose one (lol).
Thanks again for sharing this.

Morodiene,
I like the Bach piece. I’m starting to get more into Bach also, so I understand where you’re coming from about adding it to your rep. It’s addictive. So tricky, though, but so good for you!

Tyrone,
More Bach! I’m glad you’re embracing the pain with me! I just learned that one last summer, as I began my journey to the center of the Bach! Keep it up, you’re doing great!

Wisebuff,
More Bach! Very good. I think when you get it a little farther along, I’d increase the tempo. One more thing is I wonder if you can increase the gain setting on your microphone, as it’s a little hard to hear.
Great job, Karen!

Anyone else have trouble listening to Tyrone's piece via the online streaming player. All others seems to work fine. Only the youtube video works.

Dumka,
Finally, some Chopin! I wasn’t familiar with this one but I can see why you like it. It’s very powerful, with rich chords and a melody that leads to each chord. Great. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I am becoming your fanboy. I've always enjoyed your playing, but it is also your selections of pieces that I enjoy and this really does not disappoint. I love the mood you give this and how you ever so slowly wind this piece down to its end.

I’m with Kevin. I always enjoy hearing your selections. This one does not disappoint. Another composer that I was not familiar with. Thanks for playing this.

The Chopin prelude in Emin is of my favorites. Keep this one. I come back to it once in a while and always love it. It’s so emotive.

PianogrINW,
I'm with Kevin and cmb13! :-) It's a fabulous piece and you played it wonderfully. I love how steady and calmn you keep it, and build the mood with dynamics and layering of the different voices. I adore your great command and control on the last page where the big chords are!
I've played this piece last year but never really finished it, the chordal part threw me off guard and I put it back on the shelf to come back to it when I'll be more ready. You certainly inspire me to get back to that one. It's a gem :-)

Excellent Bach prelude, very uptempo, clear and fluid. You played that so nicely.

It works for me. What kind of trouble do you have? No sound? The loader never starts loading the track and so never starts to play it. No problem with any of the others. This is on macOS 10.14.6 and Safari.

This was my first Bach piece also; then I went back to the Little Preludes, and now I'm on the Inventions. I still use this as a warmup piece and play it at least every 3-4 days. It's so rich, so nice. Your dynamics were good, there were some nice crecendos and decrescendos where they should be, your tempo was even, and the sound quality was good.
I've been letting this piece mature, using it for proper arm weighting, arm rotation, tempo, etc. It's such a nice piece that it led me along a journey whereby I'm looking more Bach to use as exercises / warmups like I use this one. So far, the little prelude in C min is a good candidate, as is the invention 13; I love these also. But I'm going to continue on my Bach journey before returning to those for good.
Anyway, long response to your well played piece, but I felt it was relevant to your story of how this piece got you started on your piano journey, which is inspiring and excellent!

Beautiful piece. I haven't heard it before. It's nice to have a short one once in a while.
