Hello Everybody,

I am new on that forum. Recently I have been recording an album of original piano songs that I have composed. I am a pianist amateur (classical background but at the end a piano lover so any piece with piano inside is worth listening smile
Recently I have lived a pretty painful experience in my life which pushed me to record my songs because you never know what tomorrow will be made of.
So I have recorded in a studio one album and I am in preparation of a second one.
I would really be keen in receiving some feedback from other pianists or piano amateurs about my pieces.

There are others that I posted on Youtube as well or that you can find on other website for download. Don't hesitate to let me know your opinion.

Hi Guillaume,

These are all very beautiful pieces and well played. You've expressed a lot of emotion. Nice job of that. I was going to make some suggestions but decided against it. You've found some success in the relaxing piano category and congratulations to you for doing so.

Thank you Chandler. This is indeed the intention of my music. Being relaxing and peaceful. As everyone composing, I would like to spread it more but I have no idea where to start from that’s why I tried piano firum. Any suggestion you may have ? I am not doing this for a living it’s really just to get my music heard...

I have been adding a few additional pieces to my channel. I provide one link below. Music is a universal langage and if someone listens to one of my pieces 10000 miles away from me, this is such a great feeling...

It is beautiful Guillaume, thank you for sharing! Judging from your name, we might be 958 miles apart. smile
Have you published your music anywhere? I mean, the score. For instance, Fragile?

Playing the piano is learning to create, playfully and deeply seriously, our own music in the world.

Hello Animisha, I am planning to edit the scores but I don’t have any software to do so. The place where I recorded the album is doing this but it is rather expensive so I preferred to doit myself but I don’t know how. But it is not the first time I am being asked so I will find a way 😉. If you have any advice don’t hesitate.

Hi Guillaume, are you familiar with Musescore? You can download their program for free, and with this program you can enter and edit your score. It does take some time and effort to learn how to do this, but I find it really worth it.

Thank you Animisha. I know musescore but more for the partition that I sometimes buy but I didn’t for the editing part. I will have a look at it.
