Hi Larry

I’d like to hear about “useful” accessories.

Like the ones we don’t know about- even better, haven’t imagined- so I won’t make any suggestions.

Something really innovative may pop up.

Wow thanks! Very nice of you to offer this. This might be kind of silly, but I would love to see some of the "most ridiculous" piano/keyboard oriented exhibits. Crazy colors, shapes, etc. Those are always fun. Crazy stuff is always a big part of any trade show and we so often just get to see the pics of cool new stuff, we miss that part of the show smile

Get yourself invited to the private demos of reproducing technologies like Spirio R, Yamaha Enspire PRO, and PianoDisc's next-gen system with proportional pedaling -- things normal attendees would not be able to see -- and give us the full report with video. Ditto on the crazy stuff, always fun to see that too!

Hi Larry - how nice of you to offer! I’m really interested in the new Yamaha Transacoustic pianos and the features it offers. I believe Kawai has something equivalent, I think.

Hello Social Media Coordinator!

Thank you for joining us here. I think you should make up your own account and list your professional affiliation with Larry in your signature - just a suggestion.

Anyway, I just want to know if Larry will have a display again this year or will he be a roving reporter of sorts? smile

See you there,

Nice of you to offer larry.

I am interested in silent piano's that do not alter the way the action feels.

I'd be interested in any data manufacturers might have on how variations in humidity affect pianos. Specifically if humidity rises/falls by 10% for a day and then returns to normal, does that matter? How about for an hour or a week or a month? There is an abundance of data in the woodworking and construction worlds on how wood responds depending on how or if it's finished, but I've not seen anything other than anecdotal information in the piano world. In climates like mine it sometimes becomes impossible to maintain the desired humidity because of outdoor temperatures, I'm interested in knowing the optimum way to allow those kinds of fluctuations to occur. It would be interesting to know if they've ever instrumented a piano and then measured carefully what happens as the humidity changes.

I shall just be brave and just ask if there is any European pianos that you
may find interesting. Especially those we do not hear or see much of
of in North America. For example August Förster, Sauter , Ronisch etc

Hi Larry,
I don't do the social media stuff. Will the information eventually be posted on the forum? Sure appreciate you soliciting input.
Have a great time and a very safe trip!

@Learux - we'll try and get you some content about silent pianos!

@MarkL - I'm not sure if we'll be able to get that kind of information, but we'll try!

@Lady Bird - We'll happily give you lots of cool foreign things to look at!

@Mr Moto and Lady Bird, et al - We will also be posting our content here as well, it will just likely be delayed and not real-time at the show. FYI, anything we post on our social media should be viewable without having an account if you just can't wait to see what we've found! laugh

Hello social media coordinator. Who are you? People in the biz are supposed to post their real credentials. At least that's the rule we're all supposed to follow according to Frank.
