Anyway, I was tired of loose music, and I was never happy with staples or 3 ring, so I got this and I've been happily binding away laugh Just under $50 on Amazon and it comes with 100 combs. Interesting device. I'm curious about the Henle engravings. Is this some kind of 3D printing or other effect? I generally just buy PDF music and print it out on a normal 2D printer.

I actually solved the title on spine problem with my wife's label printer smile I don't personally find the combs a problem on the shelf, I have several comb bound books I've bought, but I can see how it might annoy some people. However, for me, it's a cheap solution that works well for my needs and is a damned sight better than my experience with staples or three ring binders.

OK, so cmb13 your'e right, I read the ad copy wrong. I had though it said "Henle editions" but they are not, I wasn't reading carefully. It's as you say they are "comparable", which is of course a bit of a weasel word because you can compare anything to anything!

Anyway, that aside, I've found the quality very good, and very consistent (inconsistency is the issue I have with IMSLP) and it's had all the repertoire I'll need so far.

Tyrone, there are only a few Rachmaninoff pieces completely free, but they do have 52 other solo piano Rachmaninoff pieces at a discount with the membership, so maybe not as good a deal for you. Has copyright not run out on some of his work as he died in the 20th century? Pretty much every work by any composer who died prior to the 20th century (hence, no copyright) is free on the site with the membership. If you're interested I'd be glad to compare sheets from Piano Street over PM.
