So I wanted to see how the CFX Grand sounded going through the on board speakers and the Roland Amp so I recorded In A Sentimental Mood , I put the piano Lid all the way down .I never checked if any of the other settings where turned off before I played but the only setting I touched after I turned it on was the lid .

I hooked up the Electrovoice speakers a and played the Bosendorfer piano sound on Good Bye Yellow Brick Road which I think fits that song well . If I am not mistaken Elton John used a Kawai Grand on that Song .

It was the Strawberry Studios Steinway at the Chateau d'Herouville in France. The studio fell into decline and some disrepair but it has been bought by some new owners a couple of years ago, who found the Steinway still sitting there.

They are already stating that it is available for use by artists who use their studio, so it must be in decent playable condition. It's a Steinway B from 1901.
