Only 3 adults I know of, myself, girlfriend, and the guy at 11:10. He's very good! From what I know, he played through childhood, stopped for awhile, and then returned.

Yes, it's great that she hosts these workshops. She then has a more formal recital in June in her home as well. I like the idea of having a "formal" once a year, and then the monthly workshops in the same setting to prepare for the "recital".

I'll be playing 2 pieces at the next workshop in January, a little more difficult than the Silver Bells. I'll let you know how it goes in the January Bar wink But it should be relaxed, it's just a workshop, not recital. The word workshop feels a lot more pleasant than recital.

Oh, you will be playing Chopin's first Polonaise... He composed that piece at the age of seven but it does not sound like the work of small kid.
