How long have you been playing? You seem so comfortable with the piece. Chords and arpeggios everywhere. It seemed like there was a lot of lateral movement. Not that easy. I think the tempo was a little uneven at times but overall a very good recording.

So, i have been playing piano, starting around 2009, but started playing a 61 cheapo unweighted keyboard around 2007 ,so 10 years, but not consistently, i play in spurts, and am mostly self\book\internet taught in how to read music
I think the arpeggios and big chords i got reasonable at, simply because i just gravitate towards such music for listening, and which in turn are pieces i try to learn.. sometimes they can be really hard, this one was not bad, but on my channel there is a song called Eternity Memory of Lightwaves .

which is very much my favorite piano score of all time, and was VERY DIFFICULT!
i started learning that in 2017, but really could not play it performance level till now, and so if i get stuck i learn other stuff, but eventually circle back , and do careful study

for the music i enjoy, my challenges right now, are compound meter and polyrhythems (or independent hand rythms) which are also in Eternity memory of lightwaves

I am just a beginner so I can´t provide you with a deep "analysis" on your playing but I enjoyed it very much.
I also listened to your Final fantasy XII - Eternity Memory of lightwaves and it was just beautiful. Very well done. How long did it take you to learn just this one?

Did you self teach just reading music or did you have a teacher for learning technique?

The piece is from Final fantasy VIII, not XIII!

I also think the tempo is a bit inconsistent (not that I don't have that problem), but your playnig sounds expressive and you seem really good at making the piano sing.

Do you have a catalogue of your DVDs?

What a wonderful recording! I really enjoyed it! I agree with cmb, the tempo is a bit uneven at times, but I'll chalk that up to artistic license.

This is one of my dream pieces and I'd love to be able to play it as well as you have one day!

It’s not that bad. Just take it slow and gradually build up speed.
But as far as the tempo goes, at what specific points did you think so? ( specific times?

I.e 1:30, 2:45 etc

Honestly all final fantasy music is awesome , also kingdom hearts .
I’m thinking of learning 1000 words, tifia theme, cloudsmiles,
And for kingdom hearts I want to learn Pour la tristee de lion but this one is above my level, I would really have to study it.

I also have windcrest up there on YouTube that is lovely one of my favorites from final fantasy
