Could someone tell me what the ideal humidity level should be for a Yamaha baby grand? We live in a pretty dry climate, and our house humidity seems to be around 35. I'm getting a humidifier with climate control for the room the piano is located. What is the ideal humidity I should try to achieve? I also know it's better to keep a constant room temperature if possible. Thanks, Steve

Welcome to the Forums, 47sgs.

45%-55% is also considered the optimal range for humans, not to mention the rest of your furniture.

Have you explored the DC-Piano Saver system? It might be additional insurance for your piano if you have seasonal changes of humidity. Check with your tuner/tech to see if they are appropriate in your area.
