Yes, folks, that's me on the piano in the ROYAL ALBERT HALL in London, playing with Richard Gjems (harmonica). The song is a Norwegian folk song of Finnish origin; 'Midisijollin' - brought into Norway by Finnish immigrants in the 17th century.
Let me tell you that playing in that incredible venue was an unreal experience. I can't believe it happened, but it did.

oooopsss....forgot to say it was a Yamaha grand..used in a band setting the rest of the evening. Magnificent sound in the room, as well as sound crew of the highest order.

How did you manage to be allowed to play there? If I went to the Elbphilharmonie in my home town and asked if I could play the Steinway in the concert hall they would not let me...

From the video and Dr B commenting on the sound crew and the succeeding performance, this appears to be a professional performance. Dr B is a professional musician

I played at a large concert of Norwegian musicians who appeared at the Albert Hall on November 10. The duet with harmonica player Richard Gjems was my ‘feature’, so to speak, other than that I was part of the band...playing the grand, an electric piano, and a Hammond B3 on one song. The whole thing was awesome, I have to say.
