Had a look inside the base of my new K300 today and noticed there's some padding underneath the damper pedal lever. See middle left of this photo just underneath the damper pedal lever.

It looks to me like this may be left over packing/support material from when the Piano was transported. Before I remove it and dispose of it, can anyone confirm this?
