Another product to consider would be the Kawai ES8 on its dedicated stand and pedal unit. It's the same in principle as the P-515. It has Kawai's second best sound engine in it and is a very rounded product; a bit of a sweet spot in my opinion.

In fact in your shoes that is the decision I would be making; Kawai ES8 vs Yamaha P-515.

Best of luck!

The OP mentions aesthetics as a priority. That would eliminate the P-515 in my opinion -- it may be many things (most of which are good), but pretty isn't one of them. It would eliminate any of the portables slapped onto a thin OEM stand, or a portable stand...so that would also take the ES8 off the table.

The P-515 with its transparent music stand fits well into my living room - the latter isn't baroque styled either. The properly finished OEM stand and the pedal board is a must though, third party studio racks and pedals dangling on cables aren't really suitable here.

Ty 👍😁

Once she saw the cost of p515 vs clp 635/645, it was an easy decision. I just have to hide the wires with OEM stand and pedals

The pedal option wires are well hidden with bundled cable guides. However for the power supply you are on your own.
