I made two videos of my latest piece. The first is on my Baldwin acoustic piano; the second is on my Roland digital keyboard using Pianoteq for the sound. Which do you like better? I'd appreciate the input!

First, it's so gratifying to see a composer actually playing his own works. For me, that lends validity to the work as being written for the piano by a pianist. And you play your work beautifully.
I'm torn between nostalgia and innovation. I think there's room for both. While there is no doubt in my mind that the quality of the recording on the Roland with the Pianoteq is clearer and cleaner, there is a definite charm to the clip of the man in a hat, playing the old Baldwin acoustic and then closing the clip with blowing out a candle. Call it schmaltzy ... bit it IS charming. laugh

"Which Way to Go" is melodic and very appealing. I'm wondering if the title refers to the quandary of two recorded versions. or the wandering quality of the music, which seems to incorporate several different ideas. Enough for a couple more pieces!
