All,

A while back, there was this charming video of Lang Lang playing the WTC Bach Prelude in C in a concert hall which brought back nostalgic memories for members in the audience. It was well done and quite effective. For reasons beyond my knowledge, the video is not allowed to be played via Youtube in the US. I am wondering if anyone here knows of another server the video might be on. I'd like to show the it to several people.

There might be a way to view it anyway, using instructions like these (I haven't tried it):

So much heavy use of pedal in Bach is definitely not to my liking, plus he over-articulates the second note in the left hand...a very romanticized Bach, which is very, very Lang Lang. Give me Andras Schiff or Tatiana Nikolayeva any day. Or Gould, for that matter.

I play it as a warm up every day. His was nice and expressive. I didn’t love the little staccato section, but liked the rest.
