They used to be made in America.
Today they are made in China.

The rights to the name were sold.

There is no relationship between the American and the Chinese Falcones except for the spelling of the name.
The spelling is identical in every way.

I've looked at one and played it. It was fresh out of the crate at the dealer and was out of tune a little but the feel and finish was nice. Here is the web site for Falcone; http://www.ascpianos.com/PagesPianos/Falconehome.html

I'm a novice about pianos myself but I've come to the conclusion that all the entry level Chinese pianos are about the same.

Best regards,

Rickster

I just played one for the first time earlier this week, and was surprised at how much I liked it. I've been playing on a 30-year old Baldwin L, which needs quite a bit of action work. Shopping around to see what is out there, and found both the Falcone and Geo. Steck instruments much nicer than I expected. Deep, resonant bass and sweet, clear treble. Very nice instruments for the price.

I played 2 of their 5'4"-ish grands. They had a bright (but not unpleasant) sound and a light action. I seem to remember some flaws in the satin black finish also. These ones were prepared well by the dealer. Not my cup of tea, but the price was right!
