Hi,

Was wondering if anybody on the forums have done their LRCM or LRSM and what their experience was like? I know the LRSM has additional components such as the viva voce and written notes.

I am thinking of doing LRSM then FRSM just for fun. I got my ARCT a long time ago, then did medical and surgery training, and am now getting back into it more intensely. I could put prepare performance programmes pretty quickly, but the other components would take some time to get ready for.

I have not yet done LRCM but that’s a future goal for me. I’m also on the RCM path and right now I’m preparing for RCM 10.
How was RCM 10 and ARCT for you? For me right now preparing for RCM 10 is really grueling but I’m practicing hard. (Also tackling my first Chopin etude-op 25 no 2)
Also, any other RCM people here?

Working on:
Preparing for RCM 10 piano exam
Chopin etude op. 25 no 2
Beethoven sonata op 28 pastorale
Bach WTC
Some Chopin nocturnes

There are some RCM people on the exam thread.
