Hi,

This is my first post here.

I started to play piano about a year ago when I recieved a Korg SP280 as a birthday gift.

Unfortunately, I have a really annoying problem. Some of the keys are quite noisy. It almost sounds like the white plastic cover on top of the key is not firmly attached, so when I press it, it's like clicking with computer mouse, if that makes sense.

I didn't have this problem when the piano was new. Could this be a result of pressing the keys too hard and/or too frequently?

Here is a video www.streamable.com/qss7b (it's the B-key)

What do you think could be the problem?

Clicky keys are fairly typical on Korg's lower end action (the 'NH' action, as fitted to your SP280). Some attention (replenishment or redistribution) to the key grease in the action might address it but every NH action I've ever touched has had these issues. I strongly doubt it's anything to do with you or your playing style.

Good luck anyway (and welcome to the Forum!).

Thank you for you reply.

The thing is, I've already sent to the workshop that handles Korg warrany issues where I live. They greased it and it worked... for a while. Then the same key made clicking sounds again, among several others. Very annoying.
