Hello how are you? I ask you a question: I have verified that a vst sounds best by midi through a midi controller such as Kawai or Studiologic Vpc, which, for example, through a Kawai cs11, because the cs11 already has about added effects (I don't know if I explain myself) ... would there be any way to eliminate those effects in cs11 and make the Vst sound more pure? ... Greetings.

MIDI doesn’t transmit audio, so there are no audio effects applied to the sound, you’re wrong.

Gee, why so harsh?

@frasca by effects do you mean audio effects like reverb? If so, nothing to worry about, MIDI doesn't transmit any of that to your VST.

The only thing the CS11 could do to the VST output is when you connect the audio back to the CS, and I suppose the soundboard could work differently than other digital piano.

I don’t know Studiologic VPC. There are Studiologic controllers (no way to send the sound back), the Kawai VPC1 controller (no way to send the audio back too).

Then I don’t know really what do you compare : controllers + monitor and CS11 including its soundboard/speakers system ?
