Hi,

So I just got the Go: Piano, it has a mini 1/8 inch line/headphone stereo out, I want to plug it into one channel of my AER amp, I’m using a TRS 1/8inch male to 2 1/4 inch female splitter adapter but use only one side to plug it onto my amp, I can’t tell any difference iin sound compared to when I use a mixer stereo. Does anyone have an idea how to do this correctly, mini stereo out to mono jack into an amp ?

Thanks,
Rob

Typically you run the left channel into your mono amp. But unfortunately the Go Piano manual doesn’t mention anything about L/Mono so it might not support it. You’ll have to test to see if it works or not.

Optimal way is to have a device that can handle the 2x mono channels: for example, an amp with 2x mono inputs or run the 2x mono channels through a mixer.

EDIT: Supposedly L/Mono is usually White and Red is Right.

Thanks, I can’t tell which is left or right from the splitter, I tried both and can’t tell the difference. I did a gig with it last night and it sounded ok but not sure ...
