After going through the usual heck of trying to post a picture on this forum...I can now get around to asking for help on a passage I'm struggling with.

In bar 10 I'm having problems keeping the left hand even on the semiquever section. Finger 2, in particular, never seems to hit the Bb cleanly on a first play and it all gets a bit flabby.

My current fingering for the LH of that bit is: 5 3 3 2 2 1

Does anyone have any advice/alternate fingering that allows me to play the semi-quavers evenly and accurately each time?

Many thanks

Just to add - I didn't type the word 'heck' and I don't understand why the word I did type was changed as it wasn't a swear word (rhymed with 'bell' if you're wondering)

Fatar
I don’t like using the same finger on two consecutive notes when I can find an alternative...., sometimes I will when I can slide from one note to the next, but that is my general plan to avoid it when I am looking at fingering
Therefore I would use 5 3 1 3 2 1 3

And yes the automatic word detector considers h**l a swear word and auto-changes it

See, I tried this earlier, and agree if 'feels' better however, can I asked what you'd then do with the RH fingering as I currently have it 'mirroring'...?

YVW but don’t consider it to be absolute. Something else may work better for you

No, quite right and I'm open to other suggestions.

The gig is next Saturday so I've got a bit of time to bed in some new fingering for this bit.

Ok so I've added a second picture here

http://forum.pianoworld.com//ubbthreads.php/galleries/2890725.html

And, again, I'd love some fingering suggestions, this time for bar 34. You can see the fingering I've been using but I'm wondering if it's too awkward and whether starting with fingers 1 and 2 is a better option.

Would appreciate any advice.

Btw why don't my photos have thumbnails so I can add them to this post. Im sure I shouldn't have to link the URL
