I have to admit that I have been really enjoying this performance and thought others here might like it as well. The piano in the video is sold.

Nice! Would have loved to have seen more shots of the piano.

Neat. Yuliya and I were students at Peabody at the same time. Never saw her play jazz, though! (She’s one heck of a classical pianist, I always made sure to attend her recitals when I could)

The piano sounds amazing, but then I'd expect nothing less from the PianoCraft team wink wink!! Congratulations on another amazing job, Keith!

Very nice!

I am working on "Misty" as well. Funny: my version doesn't sound like this laugh

Wonderful playing and a terrific sounding piano!

I see that PianoCraft is located in Gaithersburg, MD. I lived there many years ago and have many fond memories of my time in Maryland.

I lived in Gaithersburg and Potomac too, several moons ago. I even remember Montgomery Village back in the 70's when Kettler Bros. were still building it. But now I'm in DC, proper, which is not too far away.

Memories are overrated. LOL.

Haha, indeed, memories are overrated, and I try not to spend too much time with my past.

With that said, I remember Montgomery Village from back in the late 1980s. I bought a house in Gaithersburg after starting with IBM, after I graduated from college. My friends thought I was nuts to move out into the farm country, LOL. I bought a townhouse with an FHA loan, $700 down and I had to finance the closing costs because I had only $2k to my name. Still, the place eventually tripled in value and I sold it. In time, I moved to DC, and then NYC.

Bill Pulte, another home builder from the DC/Maryland area, is giving away money on Twitter, no strings attached. Some of the gifts are random, some are guided by the community. A number of teachers have had their school supplies purchased through his efforts. Bill is experimenting with removing all of the middlemen in the charity process by giving money directly to those in need. As Mark Twain wrote, the lack of money is the root of all evil. smile

Everybody seems to be enjoying the first video so here is another from Yuliya on the same piano. If you don't know this music you are really in for a treat. One of the most beautiful pieces ever.

The piano sounds wonderful, and the pianist is clearly highly skilled. My only criticism is that the performance sounds like what happens when a classical pianist plays a jazz tune. The first version in this video is more like it, IMO.
