I'm going to try to find a yelp or google review page to point this out, because buyers should NOT be misled in this way frown

Yeah it’s been over two weeks since the correct date was found and the dealer notified of the error. I’m remembering lyrics to an old song “dang me, dang me, they oughta take a rope and hang me” by Roger Miller. It’s a far happier existence to be believe most people and most piano dealers are good and at least fairly honest, and it’s sad and disappointing when we’re proven wrong. Oh well, I guess I’ll cheer up humming and trying to play some of Roger Miller’s other hits 🥺

Just because there is one dealer that we are rightly questioning, it doesn’t mean that most dealers are not good and honest. I still prefer to think most are well-intentioned with a few rotten apples. You will find rotten apples in any industry and also within any individual business

Yep. This was my experience in my summertime piano shopping adventures. Four of the dealers I met were really wonderful and I would recommend them to anyone in this area, one was a little ... odd but probably harmless, and one was someone who I will never do business with and would never recommend to any other piano buyer.

I’m not trying to say most piano dealers aren’t honest, I’m just seriously disappointed this particular piano dealer hasn’t changed the advertisement yet. I was secretly rooting for that dealer to have corrected it by now and they haven’t. Just that one dealer.

You know the saying often attributed to P.T. Barnum... I guess that dealer is a believer.

Yeah I wasn't making any comment about dealers in general, just this dealer in particular. I found their google page, and left a negative review. Maybe that'll motivate them? Who knows -_-
