Can someone tell me the age of a Yamaha GH1 serial is B4890024. Perhaps you can at least tell the period they were manufactured?

My Pierce atlas from 2017 does not specify any « B » serial number ...? If I check for the number witout B, it gives me 1990. It does not fit with the infos from the seller...

It's from 1990.
The B is a model revision, that (in my understanding) made that piano slightly better than it was before. It's an entry-level grand, and not the same level of instrument as the C series from the same time period.
