At first test everything seems to work except my headphones. It was important to me to be able to plug in headphones in order to mute the dp while practicing - more so for the sake of my dogs than my husband! Unfortunately, the speakers continue to play no matter the setting. The manual indicates the speakers are muted whenever the Speaker function is set to normal and I can confirm the setting is correct by the check mark by Normal. I have reset that function several times to ensure it is set correctly. I have tested my headphones on other devices - they work. I have initiated a customer service call with Yamaha and they have indicated it will be 24 - 48 before they will work it. Gosh, I am not that patient! I want to play my piano!!!

Do you or anyone else have any recommendations I could follow to try to resolve myself. I appreciate any assistance. Thank you so very much. Diane

Strange. So, both headphone jacks on the front of the keyboard exhibit the same behavior? You are plugging the headphones into one of the two left front 1/4” jacks, aren’t you?

Set the speaker setting to "off" until the issue will be solved. You will still hear the sound in headphones.

Sorry, AustinNana, no recommendations. Your piano seems to have some loose wire somewhere, and you won't be able to fix it yourself. Well, you might actually have the knowledge (I don't know), but you'd probably void the warranty if you tried it yourself. You need to have it fixed. Meanwhile pawelsz workaround seems to be the only solution if you want a silent practice. Sorry you had the bad luck!
Once the issue is fixed, it is a nice instrument. I like it. Welcome to the forum!
