The retailer called me up today and told me they will deliver it on the 23rd, a few weeks earlier than what I was first told. I could hardly believe it when they told me. I’m super excited.
Will update this thread with pics when it arrives if anyone is interested.
Had to make a thread even though it really doesn’t say much. But whatever. Woho!

The NU1X Is one of two digital pianos I'm considering, so by all means please post pics, along with your opinion after playing it for a sufficient amount of time. Naturally, I'll test it out before making any buying decision, but your input is important. No two opinions are the same, and you might well impart info that others haven't thought of.
Congrats on your new baby, and make sure to keep that ebony cabinet properly shined. Always.

I ordered the piano on the 29th of May, so it’s been a while since. However, I was expecting it to be delivered mid August. Alright, I will post pics and impressions Oh, and it’s the polished white one

Congratulations! I bought an NU1 about 3 years ago and have had countless hours of enjoyment. I did have a weird issue shortly after delivery (it was brand new) that eventually resulted in a new motherboard from Yamaha, but problems continued. Finally, they just sent me a new instrument all has been well. Just yesterday, my new (used) baby grand arrived after looking and fretting over what I'd get pretty much since I got the NU!. I wound up with a 1973 Mason & Hamlin Model A, 1973, which I am loving, but I can't bear to part with my NU1, so now I'm a 2 piano owner. I hope to get lots of use out of the NU1 still, especially late at night when the neighbors are asleep! It is awesome!

Wow, that looks great! I never thought much of the polished white finish until I saw your setup. Is that the bench that came with it? Nice touch with the bird. Enjoy your new instrument.

No, it’s a separate bench, but I’m debating whether or not to repaint it to match the color of the piano. Time will tel if I care or not

Looks stunning in this environment! These grey surfaces - is it speaker grid?

Thanks everyone for your nice comments! It is indeed beautiful and yes Darkwasp, that is the speaker grid, a grey fabric, looks nice with the white IMO. ![[Linked Image]](http://i68.tinypic.com/2sa051w.jpg)

I've never seen one of these (or many digital pianos at all, really) but doesn't the design of this mean that you have to remove your stuff (paper, tablet, whatever) before you can shut the lid over the keys?
It sure looks snazzy though, and I really like the bird too!
