Who is already using the tuning hammer cost 500$? What are your impressions?

The ones on the display stand look an awful lot like Faulk hammers with oversized end knobs.

I tried the big one (like Nate uses) at last year's convention in Lancaster, PA. I liked it VERY much. However, I had recently bought a Fujan which I also like very much. I just could not bring myself to part with another $500 or so under the circumstances, even though it was crying out: "Buy me...buy me!"

I had to walk away from the temptation.

What I saw, that I REALLY liked the look and feel of, back in 2011 at MARC, was the Reyburn "butterfly" grand impact lever.

I have not run into enough butterfly grands to justify a separate hammer for them. smile

It's a two handled job...like a tire iron with a tuning tip. Intended for impact tuning of grands...all grands.

I think BDBs smiley probably indicates that he knew that, and was having some pun fun......…

I actually did not notice that. It is a very rare occurrence. 😁
