I don't know, his face is very thin. It's said he lost an unreal amount of weight in the last stages of his illness.

I think that one is a photo of Chopins death mask ? Are these actual photos ? It is unusual to see one of a smiling person from the 19th century.

I agree... the one of Chopin smiling might be photoshopped. Not only is it atypical for the time, but is not seen in common photos of him. Would love to know the source.

That's a joke picture of my doing using FaceApp, "young" and "smile" settings applied to that famous picture when Chopin was very obviously sick. The free version of FaceApp recently made available the "old" setting. It is utterly horrifying on a selfie--so people have been posting the "old" version of themselves on Facebook for a communal laugh. 😆

I'd rather see Mona Lisa frown than see Freddy smile. The latter is somewhat unbecoming....... https://images.app.goo.gl/4b2wveK5acP8yRen6

There's been considerable talk in the local/national media about the inherent dangers of FaceApp. Apparently acceptance of the fine print (anyone ever read those multi-page fine print attachments to apps and web sites?) authorizes the maker of the app to use your image anywhere, anytime, in perpetuity without your express approval. There's also skepticism about the security of and possible identity theft from the users of FaceApp. Use at your own risk. Regards,

I had a conversation with a friend once that went about like this: Moi: How was that? Friend: I thought you played well. Moi: I thought so, too. 😠I had a few "spots on the sun," though. Friend: Yes, you did: a few false notes. Moi: They weren't too obvious, were they? Friend: They were as obvious as Mona Lisa with a black eye. (So, I strive not to give Mona a shiner when performing. ðŸ˜)

Regards, Yes, even if you do not post your manipulated selfies on social media, FaceApp has anything you tinker with in their system. Of course, the "young" and "old" settings make far too many redundantly look like Justin Bieber and Denver Pyle, so certain concerns may be overstated. 😆

And the FaceApp was written in Russia. Seems to me that the people behind the application are probably up to no good, but what do I know? I won't do any of those DNA tests either.

Smiling Rachmaninoff looks like Adam Sandler. And Jon Cryer.

Handel, I believe. He always favored wigs with a center part. 😆
