I just adore this little sound, it's so satisfying somehow.

Nice!
I wonder how the bigger piano underneath sounds; and it's a white one too...

Does Kawai actually make that? It's surprisingly expensive.

They seem to come right from Japan, so I'm assuming it's a distinct possibility. I'll have to dig a little more.....

They are on ebay. For some reason, I like the light wood finish.

Remember when you were little and if you were good at the doctor or the dentist you got a treat or you got to pick a prize from the prize box? I was good at the doctor.

I like the light wood finish, too. It's too bad these don't come in Cracker Jack, lol. 😊â¤ï¸

I’m holding out for the working LEGO piano model. There should be an update in the fall about possible production BTW; it takes 1800 Legos 🙀

I'm trying to remember, on the B-52s first album, which song was it that used a toy piano? Credited on the cover, too--- the only time I've ever seen that. Was it "Dance This Mess Around?"

Yes.
This article describes the toy piano as "surprisingly haunting."

Yann Tiersen uses toy pianos a lot on his albums.
Here is an example:

I'm going to have to work out space on a table. Kneeling like Yann does in that video isn't going to work for me.

Does a real size instrument like this exist? I think it doesn't, but.. why not? Some kind of xylophone instead of strings, put dampers in it like a piano, and you would have a unique instrument!
