Does someone follow beta versions for Android? Today - new, for July 7. I see no changes in the application's behavior, except that the installation file is slightly increased. All function is okay.

As I said earlier, the auto note switching is still being refined. The revised Beta version (2.4) uploaded yesterday fixed a bug where C8 switched to B7 for high inharmonicity pianos only. That was a weird bug to find since it only happened in that one case. Also auto-all mode is slightly improved. No changes were made to 3-part tuning.

I have a vacation and have free time. I can do some beta testing. On auto-all switching, there are indeed sometimes not entirely correct switching by jerk by several octaves. But, honestly, it was always convenient for me when the range of auto-switching of notes was within the minor third. But since auto-all has been implemented, need to bring it to flawless work.

Some people that have downloaded the beta version are having trouble implementing the 3-part tuning page. These are the instructions for Android (iPhone/iPad may be the same, but I don't know): Go to the Tuning Curve page and long hold on the wrench. You'll then see the drop down menu. Tap on Enable 3-part Tuning at the bottom.
Hope that helps!

The wrench in versions for Apple and Android devices is included in different ways. Thank you!

I have a mediocre Nordiska 120 upright, not the best, not the worst.
Two questions:
1) Robert writes that three part tuning is especially useful for pure 12ths in all three sections. What would be best for my Nordiska 120 upright, pure 12ths or the default of bass 8:4 middle 4:2 treble 4:1 or something else?
2) The middle section is by default A3-A4. Is this appropriate for my Nordiska 120 upright or should I choose some other middle section?
Nordiska 120CA (Dongbei) upright from about 2004, Kawai MP11 digital piano, Sennheiser HD 600 headphones.

Start with the default settings for a three-part tuning. Only an experiment. Then you can practice with the 12ths.

I just fixed an obscure bug in 3-part tuning that in rare circumstances can cause an inharmonicity reading used on one tuning file to carry over and be used as an inharmonicity reading on the next tuning file you open or create. For those playing with the new version, you might want to download today's update.

I'm interested if anyone has experimented with using 3-part tuning in TuneLab for tuning P12's. If so, what settings did you use and how did you like the results?

Dear Robert! What updates in new Android version of beta 2.4 from 20190803? The most recent update improves the sensitivity of auto note switching in the low bass and adds a couple of minor features: 1. Ability to rename files and folders (long-press the name in the file list) 2. A floating pitch reference for transferring an offset to a custom offset while also using the offset to float the pitch. No change has been made to 3-part tuning. I am very close to releasing version 2.4 officially. Then the iOS version should follow shortly after that. -Robert Scott TuneLab

Thanks Robert! Each time the application works better. TuneLab-2.4 from 20190818, as I understand it, is already very close to release.

At one time I thought the 6:1 and 9:3 intervals would only be used in the bass, but there is no theoretical reason they couldn't be used for the middle and treble as well, and shown by the iPhone version, so I will enable them on the Android and Windows version at the next update. Thanks, Vlad, for bringing this to my attention.

Hi Robert,
Could 9:3 be added to the deviation curve? I change the intervals around in the deviation curve to predict how they might sound in three part tuning, which doesn't always mean a pure 12th tuning for the piano.
Best, Brent Musgrave
