My avatar, (a beloved dog), no longer appears on my computer. I haven't changed any settings and it is not visible in either Chrome or IE. Oddly, it does appear on my iPhone. Unfortunately, I can't find the original so I cannot restore it. Has this effected anyone else? Does anyone have a solution?

Best regards,

Deborah

I don't see your dog any more, and instead only see a small, solid blue square with a white question mark inside of it. In the last month or so, I no longer see many of the avatars of other members and wonder if the recent PW upgrade had something to do with this. BTW, I'm running the Safari browser on OSX.

The image link says it’s not present in the server. frown Your iPhone’s browser was probably showing it from it’s cache.

The URL I’m posting below, shows your avatar. If it seems the same, you can download and link this image instead.

I think the universe or the man from the future is trying to tell me that it is time to let go of the brown dog, (beloved Sam) who passed away last year. I am pleased to introduce you to Henry. Thanks for your help everyone!

Best regards,

Deborah

ErrrrWooof!

Incidentally, Henry is a music critic. On two occasions, I made a horrible mistake while practicing a very meditative Bach fugue. Henry was sitting in his usual "listening spot" and both times let out a yelp!

Best regards,

Deborah

Don't see any avatars at all here.
I just see a white square with letters in there. gooddog has letter G. Tyrone T. So just first letter of your name it seems.

I also see a lot of texts [Linked Image], also under my posts...

Are you seeing the new avatar?

wouter79, you can fix that by going to your forum "Preferences" (upper right, click on your forum handle name) and then checking the radio button for "Show Avatars" and saving.

Good to have a music critic. Winston-Gerard tends to park his bed under the piano on occasions - I always take it to mean that as a <THUMBS-UP>.
