Thanks! I was super excited, but now I am kind of sad that I don`t have more of these pieces to learn. I started another set of etudes, Concone`s Op.24, but they don`t seem to be as good as Burgmuller`s etudes.

Anyway, I am also checking your progress, I really loved your rendition of "Sunrise on the Matterhorn". It is such a beautiful piece and you played it wonderfully!

I finished all 25 Burgmuller progressive etudes! Here is the last one that I`ve just recorded:

Burgmuller Op.100 No.25, La Chevaleresque - youtube

That is very impressive! I think you manage to produce a really nice sound in your playing. I have just started working on Burgmuller's Op. 100. Having gone through all of them, did you notice any improvement in your technique?

@facdo my teacher assigned Burgmuller Op.100 No.2 - Arabesque at my last lesson. It will take me a couple of months to do this and it won't be half as good as yours. I really enjoy your playlist thanks for posting all your videos.

First Lesson Oct. 17, 2017. Now working on Faber Piano Adventures 3B Lesson, T&A, Performance, Theory and Faber FunTime Ragtime & Marches. Kawai MP11SE. My Sound Cloud Piano recordings

Thank you!
Yes, I did notice an improvement in my technique, especially regarding some skills that I was really bad at, like arpeggios and leaps. But I think the most significant improvement was regarding musicality, as I am much more aware of the phrasing, dynamics, and articulation aspects of any piece. My reading also improved a lot and I am able to learn pieces, that are around Op.100 level, much faster.

Thanks, I am glad that you enjoyed my videos smile

Arabesque is a nice piece, it teaches fast 5 finger passages in both hands and soft staccato chords. I am sure that with diligent practice and following your teacher's advice you will be able to play it well. Have fun with it!
