That C. Bechstein grand looks like it came out of the Sun King’s Palace of Versailles. Extremely ornate.

Well I do love yellow roses and other yellow flowers so
perhaps that is why I thought the roses yellow at first.

Yes but both pictures are on my cell phone and I am in the same room and light ?
I was picturing in my mind the "yellow roses"

Let me think rather about the white Boston grand that has been in that store for quite a while.Nice sounding
piano !

But I do "know about that" because it definitely is not to my taste.

Just because you may like it doesn't mean I have to like it.

The dress to me looked gold and white. The C. Bechstein looked gorgeous but was “too much”. The carving and wood is sensational but it’s just overdone. Just my own weird opinion.

Well it would never fit with the regular furniture or in the house of most middle class people .So that excludes me as well.,apart from the price of this beautiful piano which would ruin us.

I quite like it - but then I considered a Bubinga M&H AA. I think it's the default photo on this page:

https://www.masonhamlin.com.au/model-aa

The only problem with something like that - is resale value. If only one person in Australia were to want it when my Estate is wanting to get rid of it after I've gone to a better place - it could be relatively worthless. I bought a boring black piano.

Well, when the sweet sound of piano music fills your soul, it's easy to become color-blind. smile
