I currently own a mp11se and am looking to upgrade my controller. I'm not interested in the internal speaker/sound as I will be using it as a controller.

My setup:
Audio interface - rme ufx ii
Monitors - focal solo 6be(will upgrade to genelec 8341a soon)
Vst - vsl cfx/d full

I've seen some comparison of the n1x and nv10 in some past threads, but it seems to be mostly about the difference of internal samples and speakers. Anyone there who could compare the two functioning as a midi controller?

Thanks in advance.

I doubt that anyone had a chance to play both n1x and nv10 through monitors (though I may be mistaken). But I think you can download official music samples and play them through monitors to get an idea of what the sound will be like.

You're going to dump those "paltry" $1500 Focals for $3000 Genelecs? Wow! Must be nice!

The genelecs cost 7500$ for a pair in my country. Me and my dog will be starving for 2 months but that's okay.
