I really like the tone of my piano when i remove the front panel, even tough it is also too loud that way.

Now im wondering, would the vented front panel of a UX3 fit on my U3? I think it would be nice, as it would give a little more of that open sound.. and i do like the looks of the vented panel too.

Anyone know if they are exactly the same size?

Now i think it will probably be hard to find a UX3 panel without a piano attachted to it, but it would be something im interested in.

I guess it might be possible to make a frame to fit, with a fabric cover.....

Something like that could be an interesting idea indeed, thanks.

I'll check the size against my UX3 if you like. What size is the panel from your U3? (and no, you can't have my panel :-) )

That would be great! And no, i won't ask you for your panel. Altough, don't you think in a particulair type of light.. sometimes these vented front panels look really hideous? I have already realized this fact myself, but i am willing to trade up if you're willing to offer a small compensation. I am a good person, i like to make people happy, so let me now. wink

My panel size is about 148cm (57,7 inch) in width, and about 43cm (16,8 inch) in height.

Now I have just one more question that has not got anything to do with any of this, and is just purely out of interest: what is your exact adress?
