Looking forward to hearing- and seeing- more about your new place SwissMS!

Please excuse me for April 24-30. I was on a whirlwind trip back to Canada to visit my parents for their 80 birthdays.

Pianist@Heart - I hope things went well for your job interview. I will put you back on the wagon May 10.

casinitaly- I hope you enjoyed your visit back to Canada visiting your parents! I will add April 24-30 to your excused list.

Well, my moving saga is continuing. We have lived in a hotel since April 23. The house we thought we were moving into ended up having some issues we didn't want to deal with, so we passed on it. That turned out to be a good thing, because we found a house that is perfect for us! We purchased it a week ago, but we are renting to the sellers until the 15th of June to allow time for them to move out. So- i have three to four more weeks without a piano!! I have the perfect place for it when it finally does come home though! It should be nestled in its own space by June 18.

Good news for you! Once you are in the new home, make sure you post some pictures of your piano room.

Hi,

I missed practing May 19- May 23. Most of those missed days I really could have practiced. I need to work on still practicing after working 8 hours. However, I am happily back on the wagon as of May 24. Thank you SwissMS for the well wishes. I am glad things worked out with the move.

I missed May 17-19 when I went camping at a state park. Although I had my keyboard along, the tendinitis I've been struggling with in my elbows is supposed to be rested and this was a good opportunity. Is it all healed? No, not yet but I'm seeing progress. It does not hurt when playing piano unless I play for long periods, so I don't believe that's the underlying cause. Probably lifting since that's the movement where I feel the most pain.

Please excuse me for May 28 through Jun 1. I was on a short work trip, which culminated in my last day at work, as I retired (yay yay yay). Yesterday, I stayed with a friend and went to the beach. Back to home and the piano today. smile

Hi everyone!

I'd like to join this lovely challenge.
Motivated to not miss a single day smile

My piano journey started on April 20, 2019. Now I see how empty my life was.

Just wanted to note that today is my 165 straight day of piano practicing in my streak. Even when I injured my left pinky two months ago, I did 4-finger practice on LH or RH only practice.

I mention this now because my wife is upset I haven't been to our Amsterdam flat in a long while and summer being what it is, if I can't find a suitable travel piano, this streak will come to an end soon frown

Congratulations!

173 days ago (eight days have passed since you wrote this update) was Christmas Day!

Playing the piano is learning to create, playfully and deeply seriously, our own music in the world.
