Hi Everyone!
I plugged my FP-30 to the Mackie passive volume controler which is connected to my monitor speakers by the 3.5mm cable and I discovered strange buzzing. I recorded that issue using recorder Zoom H4n, close to the monitor membrane:

Any one to had similar issues? Any one know, what can be the reason?

To me that sounds like electromagnetic interference caused by some sort of radio transmission (possibly WiFi); the sound itself reminds me of modems of ye olden days. The noise seemed to happen in two separate packages. My immediate thought is that we're observing electronic communication between devices following a protocol including distinct packages of data.

A USB cable near the audio cable or some other data cable causing interference?

Just a wild guess. I really have no idea.

Yes, scored!
I unplugged USB cable, which was connected to the computer's sound card and the issue disappeared.
Thank you smile

Not sure if it does anything, but I only use shielded USB cables around my audio equipment and DP (in fact, all my cables around audio equipment and DP are shielded, no matter what they are for). Usually by either an aluminum or aluminum alloy sheath. I figure since I haven't experienced any leakages, it at least didn't hurt.

There are tons available on Amazon. Search for shielded USB cable and check descriptions and customer reviews.

+1. USB cable? Ethernet cable ?

It _doesn't_ sound like a ground loop, or anything similar to a ground loop.

Some ferrite chokes on the connecting cables might help. Electronic supply houses have them; I don't know if they're available through normal retail "hi-fi" or "music store" channels.

All cables are shielded ... so long as you stay away from the dollar store cables, or ones sold online for stupid low prices.

I think, rather I have shielded USB cable, cause I've paid 15 GBP for 5m one.
