Dear Pogorelich and Pianoloverus,

Here is my cadenza for Beethoven 3 (I recorded it during the rehearsals by my phone w/zoom iq7 - it was just near the piano so please do not expect a high quality and clear sound). I hope you like it.

There is some marvelous pianism here, as is to be expected from CanCakmur. For my taste, the cadenza is a little long and doesn't remain consistent in style with the musical content of the concerto. Marvelously played, nonetheless.

Regards,

I see that Can Cakmur's recital recording on BIS is available on Spotify, which has a rather amazing classical music catalog.

I think the length is around 3'10" which is within 10" of one performance of the cadenza I listened to. I felt the style was also consistent in style with the concerto although I think that's personal opinion to some extent.

Also congratulations!

Were you asked by BIS to make a recording or was it your own initiative? How did that go?

Sorry for my late reply wouter79; SACD agreement with BIS was a prize of a competition.

I can't tell you how much I loved that! My husband and I really enjoyed listening to it. You have something so unique and it's such genuine playing - awesome!!!!!!! Is there a way to hear the whole performance?

Thank you very much Pogorelich (and of course I must thank to all of you) for your nice words. I really worked hard for this and am very happy that you liked. I have the audio cd of the performance, but I am not allowed to make it public, however I believe it will not be a problem if I share it only in PW via google drive. The problem is I must find a way (and time) to copy this audio cd to my computer (I tried to rip the cd but somehow it didn't work, I will surely find a way). However, I just returned from a Japan tour and hope to do it in a short time. I will post it here when it is ready.

Thank you all again smile

Congratulations, and thank YOU, Can, for continuing as a member here and sharing your amazing performances. You're a huge inspiration for so many here.
