Hey everyone! Have a client with a vandalized Square Grand Piano. I can't make out the manufacturer. Has anyone seen this brand before?

It is probably A. & W. (Adam and William) Geib. That name appears in the Piano Atlas.

Vandalized? I didn't realize it was possible to vandalize a square piano.

You can read about the Geib family here.

John Geib, the father of "A and W", was important in the London square-piano scene in the late eighteenth century as the inventor of an important escapement mechanism, see here.

I think John Geib was one of the makers that Longman and Broderip employed (later became Clementi).

I looked up the journal article and wow, it's a fascinating read, it really humanizes what is otherwise just a name.

Indeed. "Geib was one of the largest piano builders in London. He sold over 3000 pianos through Longman and Broderip". From a wonderful mini-lecture on the history of the square piano by the marvellous Tom Strange of the Carolina Music Museum, which you can see here.

It seems that the instrument on this CD ("Haydn and the English Lady") is a W Geib, restored by Tom Strange.
