Bought a new Kawai CA-78 which arrived on tuesday. Anybody experieced the following problems ?
1) The piano does not complete the software start up if any key is pressed during the boot strap. Only way to stop it is to unplug power.
2) If the piano has been turned off for 20-60 minutes it is impossible to turn it on. Looks like the switch is not working as I can't hear the "click" associated with turning it on or off. If the switch is kept pressed it turns on , but when the switch is released it goes off. I the piano has been tuned off for few hours or few minutes there is no problem to restart. The problem appears randomly
3) Low buzz can be heard when using the touchscreen (not always)

thanks for helping me

Al

I would suggest contacting the dealer with this.

Thanks, I did contact the dealer. Now I am keeping the piano "under observation" as the problems did disappear during the weekend. This is however keeping me puzzled as I can't find a proper explanation.

Anybody had troubles in putting on or off a Kawai digital Piano ?

thanks
Al

Nope, works ok for me in that regard. Good luck with fixing this.

No, mine turns on and off normally. I do get the buzzing with the touchscreen though. I'm going to contact the dealer about it today.
